Some interesting elements

The old town : This is the place to undertake a tour of the Baroque and classical architecture of Nice, in particular along Rue du Pont-Vieux and Rue de la Préfecture. A Little Tourist Train runs through the picturesque streets of Old Nice.
Opéra, characteristic of the architectural style of the Second Empire.
Palais Lascaris, in the Genoan style.
Cours Saleya and its flower market.
Parc du Château, on the Castel Hill, with a splendid view over Baie des Anges and the majestic cascade.
Antique dealers and « Flea Market ».
The Russian church, a harmonious symphony of pink bricks, light grey marble and brightly coloured ceramics.
The Church and Franciscain Monastery of Cimiez.
Cathédrale Sainte-Réparate, built in the 17th century in honour to the city’s patron saint, the martyr Reparate.
The hills of Nice and their monuments recount a cosmopolitan past where Monarchs, Aristocrats, British or Russian, discovered the Côte d’Azur and made it their residence.
L’Hermitage (1906), built in the style of Louis XV and Louis XVI.
Château Valrose (former property of Baron Van der Wiess, now housing the Science Division of the University of Nice).
Hôtel Regina in Cimiez (1896) was home of Queen Victoria when she visited Nice.
