The exotic garden : The world’s biggest collection of succulent rock plants.

Sixty meters below the ground, the Observatory Caves unveild*s its spectacular limestone rocks formations carved out over thousands of years.

Nearby is the Museum of Prehistoric Anthropology, an interesting collection of human and animal remains found during local archeological excavations.

The Oceanographic Museum : Open in 1910, internationally recognised, is devoted to marine sciences. Its displays of marine life collected by Prince Albert 1 are priceless.

The world famous Aquarium, housing coral and the rarest species of fish of all shapes and colours, is a feast for the eyes.

Captain Jacques-Yves cousteau’s films are shown regularly in the Museum.

A keeper of centuries-old traditions, the Palace unveils some of its treasures (open from June to October), the State Apartments, the Courtyard of Honour with its horseshoe staircas, the Hercule Gallery and the Throne Room.

 

Crowds gather on the Palace Square every day at 11 :55 am sharp to watch the Changing of the Guards.

The National Museum of Dolls and Clockwork Exhibits is one of the world’s most important collection with some 2.000 items from the 18th and 19th centuries all real masterpieces in the art of miniaturisation. This treasure is housed in a superb villa « Belle Epoque » on the seafront.

H.S.H The Prince’s Private Collection of Vintage Cars :

 

Located on the Fontvieille Terraces, this remarkable collection consists of over 100 vintage or clasisc cars from various periods belonging to the Prince.

Nearby, the Naval Museum houses over 150 marine objects and models from famous vessels.
