This is a beautiful property, with caring friendly hosts, encouraging you to mix with the other guests.

We were met by Xavier and greeted with a drink and snacks upon arrival. The room - Wisteria Suite - was spotlessly clean, furnished with traditional French furniture, a comfortable bed and great views.

We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute apart from the narrow single track roads which surround the property and infact the whole area! Although very quiet, it becomes interesting when you meet traffic coming in the opposite direction. Luckily we are not nervous drivers, so this did not detract from the enjoyment of the visit.

Breakfast was a communal affair, outside most days due to the beautiful weather. Everything was home made, from the pastries and bread to the conserves - delicious.

We would highly recommend a visit here

The house is in a glorious position with views over the hills and set within its own beautiful grounds. We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of July; Xavier and Roby were welcoming, friendly and helpful, with good advice about the area. Our room was very comfortable with an excellent bed, small fridge and chairs and table on the terrace outside. We swam in the pool at the end of a hot day in the car and it was both refreshing and peaceful. We ate out on one evening and used the summer kitchen on the other, when we were joined by other guests and Xavier and Roby who were most hospitable. The background sounds of frogs nearby and flashes of fireflies adde to the charm! Breakfasts were outside, sharing one large table with other guests with an excellent selection of fruit, cereals bread made by Xavier and delicious home made jams.
We would definitely return if we were looking for accommodation in this area. Thank you Xavier and Roby. Penny, Scott UK 10/07/13

My husband and I stayed at the Relais du Peyloubet for 10 nights in June. We loved it. Our room was spacious and comfortable with with a terrace, lots of windows, and a good size bathroom. It had a small refrigerator and an electric kettle. The view from our room was wonderful. The grounds are lovely and very well maintained. The pool was great. Although all five rooms were occupied for some of the nights we were there, it was never too noisy and the pool was never crowded.
Breakfast in the morning included jams made from fruit grown on the property. It was served outside except for one very chilly morning. Xavier and Roby were wonderful hosts, suggesting places to visit and lending us some guides to walks. On several evenings they welcomed guests with wine and appetizers. As a result we met some of the other guests which made the stay even better. We got lost in Grasse on our way to the Relais from the airport in Nice. We called Xavier and Roby. We were only about 5 minutes away and Roby rode down on a motorcycle to guide us to the Relais.
You should have a car if you plan to stay here and you should be prepared to drive on narrow winding roads where you have to pull over if you meet someone coming the other way. There are no stores or restaurants within walking distance and the driving can be challenging until you get used to it. Despite the driving we would happily return to the Relais. It was a wonderful relaxing vacation.

Where do i start!? everything about Le Relais du Peyloubet exceeded our expectations. We stayed for five nights in June and had a wonderful time!

Roby and Xavier were very welcoming and gave us some good advice on where to visit and where to eat out in the local area. Their breakfast was lovely often consisting of freshly baked brioche, bread or cake and homemade jams.

Our room was clean, spacious and we even had our own small terrace where we sometimes st and enjoyed a glass of wine.

Grounds are well maintained with a nice pool, pétanque and table tennis table. Hammocks in the shade where you can relax and read. Self catering facilities in the form of an outdoor communal kitchen and dining area were also really useful, we spent two nights sitting out eating BBQ food and drinking wine, it was very peaceful only the croaking of their resident frog could be heard! In the evenings we also got accustomed to seeing a swarm of fireflies- very pretty flashes of light against the night sky. A really relaxing holiday, in a charming house with great hosts! Thank you Xavier et Roby

On the way back from a wedding, we spent unfortunately only one night at this beautiful place. Xavier and Roby create a very pleasant, friendly, welcoming atmosphere and the surroundings of the house are just beautiful. Absolutely worthwhile for a longer stay, in order to enjoy the pool and nice restaurants in the area.

My husband and I stayed at Le Relais du Peyloubet in late September for two nights - it was a great stay. Xavier and Roby were wonderful hosts and made our stay there so comfortable. The rooms were charming, good breakfast, and the view absolutely spectacular! We bought some food and wine and ate in the outdoor kitchen in the evening which was a perfect ending to a busy day. My only suggestion is that If you are driving, don’t depend solely on a GPS. It couldn’t read where we were because the roads in Grasse are so close together. Written directions are a must!

The " Relais du peyloubet" is one of the best guest houses i have stayed in france. Roby and Xavier are wonderful charming hosts. Rooms are beautifully decorated and are very clean and comfortable, and the en- suite bathroom was wonderful. A very extensive breakfast menu means that there is something to satisfy every appetite. Xavier was so friendly and helpful, full of suggestions about what to do in the riviera and where to eat. So i can’t recommend this place highly enough!

We stayed as a family of four (two kids, 9 and 5) at Relais de Peyloubet for ten days in July 2012. We stayed in the Wisteria suite which comfortably accommodated us with a double bed and rollout sofa for the kids. The view from the room was just stunning, over-looking the rolling hills.

We were warmly welcomed by Roby and Xavier. Two finer and gentler hosts you could not hope to meet as they welcomed us to their home and made our stay a pleasant one from start to finish. Breakfast is included and consists of a range of pastries, breads and muffins, baked onsite by Xavier. Freshly squeezed orange juice, tea/coffee and a variety of jams and marmalades made from fruit grown in the garden and eaten in the outdoor (canopied) dining area in the blazing sun made for a wonderful start to the day.

Roby has some English while Xavier has more and even with our limited amount of French we were more than able to converse with our hosts at mealtimes, ask for directions to restaurants, get a history of the house and the area and so on. Our hosts were the complete gentlemen and were always very helpful to us and responsive to any questions or requests. One lovely touch was that when we mentioned that we were going to Marineland for our son’s 9th birthday Xavier baked a special set of chocolate muffins for everyone on the site and Happy Birthday was sung in French. The little things make the difference and this is a great example of the attentiveness and kindness of our hosts which made our stay so pleasant.

The pool area is top notch. No expense has been spared here and it is kept spotlessly clean. The sunbeds and umbrellas are of a very high quality and sitting by the pool was very comfortable. I love sitting by the pool with a good book with the sun beating down and then being able to cool off with a dip. Possibly my favourite pool-side experience ever. There were always plenty of sunbeds available so no racing to get your towel down at the crack of dawn. Just not that sort of holiday. On average we spent every second day at the pool and made our own lunch (communal fridge available to store perishables) which we had in the dining area.
The other days were usually day trips to Nice, Marineland, the Grasse perfumeries etc.

The gardens are beautifully kept and blend in nicely with the surrounding areas. You are miles away from the hustle and bustle. If you want to relax this is where you need to go. To go to a restaurant you will need to drive for 15-20 mins. We mostly went to Valbonne which has a good choice of various cuisines.
All in all Relais de Peyloubet is a fantastic experience and we will surely return in the future.

We had a great time at Le Relais du Peyloubet where we found a fantastic B&B which is run by great people with passion who make you feel home from the first minute. We liked it so much that we increased our initial 8 nights to 11 nights overall and finally left with a feeling that this is clearly a place to come back. We had two rooms during our stay, both of them very nice, clean and well equipped, indeed we missed nothing. The huge natural garden is amazing, we spotted many different flowers, butterflies and dragonflies. The great pool invites you to cool down and relax and we enjoyed swimming in it after our various day trips in the area. There is also the possibility to cook outside in an outdoor kitchen which is also a great experience and possibility to get in touch with other visitors of the B&B and the hosts if you want. Finally we have to thank Xavier and Roby for the outstanding friendliness, hospitality and support received during our stay. They are great people who work hard for the wellbeing of their guests. The breakfast served by them is a great start in the day with homemade bread, jam, muffins ... hmmmmm !!! The combination of the nice building, garden, pool and outstanding hosts with a good sense of humor and the heart at the right place was unique for us. We highly recommend this place because we feel that it is a very special one. Chapeau Xavier et Roby !

Our family of 4, kids aged 3 years and the other 7 months stayed here at the end of May this year. We had such a great time in what is an amazing place to both relax and explore the provence region. The hosts couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful and with fresh pastries each morning from one of the owners who used to be a patissier, this was a great French experience. The location is ideal allowing you to head to some of the inland sights of Provence as well as.being a 15min drive from the coast and Nice, Cannes etc. Rooms were cleaned daily, you have use of an outdoor kitchen to make your own meals in the evening. A great holiday, made so by the experience of staying here. We will be visiting again!

Thanks you for a lovely week, we have enjoyed our stay. If only we could stay for longer. We would have loved to spend more time in the pool and gardens. The pool is perfect! Your hospitality has been very kind, lovely freshly baked breakfast pastries and orange wine in the evening. The view is superb, especially at sunset. Cooking & having meals in the breakfast garden kitchen has been a treat.

This perfectly situated was is a very short and easy drive from the Nice airport. The surrounding countryside and villages are within easy reach for visits to markets and many historical sites. The house is beautifully kept and the rooms are nicely appointed with every possible convenience. The hosts, Xavier and Roby are gracious and attentive. They invited us to have a pre-dinner sampling of some of the estate produced delicacies with them. We ate, talked and laughed trading stories of travel, gardening and life experiences. They made sure that we were comfortable and lacked for nothing. Breakfast was complete with fresh baked pastries, an assortment of homemade jams and great French coffee. We stayed two nights at the beginning of our trip and one at the end before flying back to the USA from Nice.
